Hey folks,
Just wanted to come in and say good-by to the list. My
Cuzz-in-law Rhonda left the list several weeks ago and I'm
following in her and my Cuzz Hugh's footsteps. HW simply isn't
keeping up with the times anymore in providing the useful
services that I think their note takers need to do. The 8.0
upgrade in my opinion is totally useless unless one's in to the
keychat stuff or the GPS stuff. And it seems to me that a lot
more of the stuff requires computers, which Me and Imma Jean
don't have. Hope HW gets it's act together in the future,
elsewise, HW will fade in to history in the providing of useful
products that blind people can actually use.
To let y'all know, yesterday's tobacco spitting and chawing was a
roaring success. Several distance spitting records were broken
both by women and men. Imma Jean finished in first place in the
women's devision with a hefty spit of 58 Ft. 6 inches toss.
There was a real big crowd on hand inspite of a little bit of
rain. The hometown picking music was truly great. Incidentally, I
had a terrible day and didn't even place in the finals of Big
Spitt-off. Oh well, that's the way the cookie crumbles.
Y'all take care, have a nice life and we'll see you in the funny
papers.
