I tried about an hour ago to download an mp3 file. While downloading,
I lost my connection to a wireless network at my college. I waited for
several minutes, but the BN didn't reconnect. I hit the Previous key
to cancel the download, my BN froze, and I did a reset. I erased the
incomplete mp3 file successfully, and thought nothing else of it. A
few minutes later, out of curiosity, (as I normally do from time to
time) I checked the free space on my flash disk. It was somewhere in
the range of thirty or forty megs of space less than what it was
before I attempted the download. Knowing there was something majorly
wrong, I tried ALL manner of resets described in the manual, but
nothing worked, not even erasing EVERYTHING off the flash disk (I
always back up my files, so I didn't lose anything). With the flash
disk empty, I'm getting a reading of roughly eighty megs free. (Yes, I
erased everything after the reset, when the BN notices that things
like the planner don't exist anymore - before taking the reading.)
What the blazes is going on here? How do I get my flash disk back to
normal? This is really beginning to scare me. My BN mPower 18 has been
fine otherwise since I got it back from Humanware near the end of this
summer.
