Try Spanish computer braille. You also need 8-dot computer braille; in Braille options, select the Spanish table from the list at the "use which ocmputer braille table" prompt, then go down to "display computer braille using 6 or 8 dots" and select 8. Now exit, then go to keyboard settings. At "use 6 or 8 dot computer braille", select 8. To type in Spanish, just open a text file (either ascii text, keyword text, microsoft word, or rich text) and have at it! An a acute, for example, is dots 1 2 3 5 6 8, or the "of" sign with enter. To enter commands that require the use of some dots and either backspace (dot 7) or enter (dot 8), use the spacebar. For a new line, press enter and the spacebar together. To increase your speech volume, press dot 4, enter, and space together. The only exception I know of is backspace; pressing this by itself will not print a dot 7, like pressing enter by itself would print a dot 8; rather, backspace by itself still erases the prior character. To erase the prior word, though, it is backspace with dot 2, like usual, but you need to press the spacebar with the combo as well. Hope this made sense. Note that accents are just like you read them in embossed Spanish braille, but with a dot 8 added.

Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] Spanish on the BrailleNote

Hello. I am now taking a spanish class.
How can I get the braillenote to display special characters, and how can I get them to print correctly?
