Hello:
The file sets you up to return to your last
position. Don't worry about it - if it is erased, a
reset will replant it.

It has always been there. My theory is that it is a
file that keysoft used
to use for folder identification. It takes up no
room, so you can safely
ignore it. In fact, you can delete it; doing so
seems to have no ill effect,
in my experience anyway.
Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] mystery file
Hi, all,
When I put my CF card in the card reader on my
PC, it identifies
something in one of my folders as:
"folder.fnb"
If I try to open it on the computer, I get the
message that it can't be
opened because the program that created it does not
exist on the computer.
When I put the card into the Braille note and try to
find this file, I can't
even find it. I tried using the X chord command to
get it to read all files
in that parent folder, but this folder.fnb thing
does not appear.
What is it? How can I find it and find out
what's in it?
Thanks.
Alice
