Hello, are there any drivers I can get for Windows XP which will allow the serial card I installed in the back of the computer to work? For four years, I was able to use both the Braille Note's braille display and the voice synthesizer with my computer by connecting it to the serial port which was built into the motherboard. Well now that computer is on it's last legs, and I have this serial card which fits into one of the two card slots in the back of the computer. I was able to use both the BN as well as my Alva 380 display. If I can't get this card to work, then I must invest in a converter which will allow me to plug into a USB port. I've Googled and found that some work, and some do not. Does Humanware recommend a specific one, or a specific manufacturer? I assume these adaptors will not be available in stores, and so I'll have to shop online for these. If it doesn't work, I'd hate to have to keep sending products back until I find one which works. I looked on NewEgg.com, and the prices generally seem to be around ten dollars for these. Any help trying to find the correct working cable or adaptor for both the BN and my Alva 380 braille display would be appreciated.
Thanks a lot.
Matthew
