I doubt it means anything. If you do not have the dictionary installed,
pressing enter with lower d or the th sign will also just cause a beep;
these are two hotkeys in the dictionary program. Keep playing, though!
Have a great day,
Alex

Subject: [Braillenote] a small, but potentially interesting find
Hi List.
Yesterday I was bored and started hitting random letters from the main
menu in the hope that i'd find something interesting like a hidden feature
or something.
Well usually, if you press a letter and there is no corresponding option
to open, KeySoft says: "Letter: beep" (where "Letter" is the letter you
have just pressed and beep refers to the error beep). But if you press
the letter z from the main menu, the braillenote just beeps and does not
announce the letter. This seems odd because it announced the letter on
all the other keys I tried, but not with z. So I was wondering: Is this
just a small bug or does this mean that there could be a hidden
program/feature that has the hotkey of z (that just needs to be
installed/unlocked)? I hope it is the latter because things like that can
be very interesting.
Thanks in advance and I hope that made some sense. PS. I am using
KeySoft 8 build 20.
