Hmm, not sure. Perhaps this would be useful for people who want to try features in the next upgrade but don't have a SMA available; not sure how this idea will go down amongst others.

doing a 4-5-6reset

Hey, I wish KeySoft would run in 40 minute mode like JAWS, then
should this
happen we could still use KeySoft even without authorization,
temporary or
otherwise. To reboot you simply do a reset. Thoughts?

I believe it's something to do with KeySoft temporarily losing
authorisation
so it produces that message. I've only seen that message myself
once and it
did scare me at the time because I was having other problems with
my bn and
I thought it might have been related, but a reset with no keys
held down
attempts to re-authorise KeySoft and this fixed it.

Subject: [Braillenote] Serial Number require message when doing a
4-5-6 reset

Hello; Listers, Something really strange happened to me! Me being
the kind of person that I am I did a 4-5-6 reset to free up space
and to delete clutter from the BrailleNote. When the BrailleNote
Started back up it said Serial number required please contact
your local vender. So I figured I should press h cord and it
said to continue press enter. So I thought to myself let me try
to enter the serial number nothing happened it wouldn't let me.
So I pressed enter and bang my Braille Display went blank. I was
really scared! So I did another 4-5-6 reset and wahla! Back to
normal! Can anyone tell me why this sometimes happens? What is
the cause of this?
