If the USB hub comes with an AC adapter that they expect you to use with a normal computer (which probably has more power than a bn), I would really recommend that you use it with the bn. Unless the USB devices themselves have adapters, they draw all of their power from the device to which they are connected.

Hi guys, I just made an awesome discovery with my BrailleNOte MPower and a USB hub my uncle gave me a year ago. Last year when I had Keysoft 7.2, everytime I tried to use the hub, it would give me an error message saying that the hub was not supported. Now that I have Keysoft 7.5 build 32, I'm now able to use it. Mind you, I've had KS 7.5 for a few months now, but never thought the hub would work with it! Another thing: My uncle said I'd need to use the AC adapter that came with the hub, but on the BN, I don't have to. I have my memory stick, my high capacity SD card, my USB keyboard and a set of USB powered speakers all plged into the hub, and everything is working fine and dandy! Just thought I'd let you all know. Best regards, Siena. -- Siena Blog: http://www.horizonproject.wordpress.com Twitter: SienaT ___ Replies to this message will go directly to the sender.
