Sometimes I don't get a clear reception either. It depends on where you are. Like what city you're in for certain radio stations. But in this case to get a clear signal without much static you should try and move the braillenote around. Try moving it in different ways like holding it sideways or upside down or even over your head. The main point is to move it in different ways to get a good radio signal. Or you can always use headphones and plug it in. If you use headphones, then usually the radio is much clearer and you don't have to move it that much.
