Personally, I don't it can easily be monitored in terms of usage
time. First, the power usage and availible time would vary
depending on which peripheral is connected and how much power it
uses (although there is a command under Support Information Mode
to see the power usage). Second, the battery would not always
give accurate power status information (although it could try
within error rate up plus-or-minus 2%, the more accurate way of
viewing power remaining is via Support Information Mode).
For our new friends who've never heard of Support Info Mode,,
it's a kin to viewing advanced power usage activities on your
computer with advanced programs, such as information on power
usage (in milliamps),, voltage and battery capacity. To acceis
this option, from Options Menu (SPACE with O/FN+O), then press
press SPACE with I/READ+I. KeySoft says, "Iupport Information
Mode." The following commands are availible: a (battery status
accuracy); b (last discharge); c (current battery capacity; the
number decreases as the battery discharges and vice versa); d
(currently availible capacity when the battery is at 100%(be i
(battery charge/ddcharge cycle; the greater the number the older
the battery); j (power usage; the more negative the number is,
more power is being drawn; the number becomes positive when ac
adapter is connected); p (power status in percentage); s (battery
charging/ddcharging status; "discharging" means that BN is
operating on battery; "fast charging" means that the battery is
being charged; "trickle charging" means that the battery has
finished charging); t (battery temperature); v (battery voltage).
The useful commands in response to Dominique's suggestions are a,
c, d, j, s and v.

Hi all, the subject says it all!
I just would like to have two options for KS with the reading the
battery status. If the BrkNote could say 100% and then show how
many ours is left untill it's ded.
Like on a laptop when JAWS says 100% then say 3 ours.
Do you guys think something like that would work?

you will need webvisum if you are a Jaws user because of the
