Hello,

Hmm, that's interesting.

Would anyone on here know why that happens?

I thought that space o was for options menu, and space i was for information.

I find that when you are at the main menu and you press dots 235
that it
takes you to the options menu. If you press dots 236 from the
main menu then
it will show you the information list of the braillenote. Like
it tells you
the copyright, what version of keysoft, and all that other stuff.

Hi,
From what I know, the BN's keyboard driver (the guy which
represents the
keyboard and sends information to the operating system)
recognizes "exit"
routine when either SPACE with E or Z is pressed. This is
apparently a
compatibility thing with Blazie/FS products (well, not
anymore...).

I have noticed the same thing but never gave it much thought.
But now
when you, Joshua, mensioned it, you ignited my curiosity.
Here's my
hypothesis. Since z chord is used to exit the current menu or
operation, perhaps it's confused because you want to exit the
main
menu and of course, you can't exit the main menu. Or can you?
but,
then again, if you do e chord, it will just beep and say "main
menu.
But, e chord is an obvious keystroke. Perhaps the BN considers
z to be
a half-chord.

Hi list.
I called hw a while ago, because I had some questions I wanted to
ask them. One of my questions was: why is it that when you press
an incorrect letter, such as Q, from the main menu, the
braillenote says the letter and beeps, but when you press the
letter Z from the main menu, it just beeps and does not say
anything? When I asked this question, the tech support person
basically avoided it. When I asked her if it was a bug, she said
it wasn't. When I asked her if it was some kind of backdoor to
get into something on the braillenote, she said it wasn't. Then,
she rudely cut me off, and asked me if their was anything else I
needed help with. The point is, I think their is something
hidden on the BrailleNote, that, for some reason, humanware
doesn't want to talk about.
My advice is, keep playing around with it. I know I'm going to!
