To select all files, even on ks5.x or older, just type space with dots 1 and 6 (ch sign). To select, for example, only brf files, type space-1-6, followed by .brf. This will match all files ending in .brf. Wildcards are in the manual, though the exact position escapes me. Go to the manual, select the index, and press w until you hear "wildcards"; read that section and it should explain things better than I am doing.

Have a great day,
Alex

Well I don't think that you can. If you have KeySoft 7.2 or higher, then you
can select multiple files at the same time and do whatever you want. Is
yours really 5.2, if that's the case and it's the old pulse data
braillenote, then there really is nothing you can do about it. You'd have to
do it one at a time.

Using Keysoft 5.2, is there a way to export multiple files to text at once?
Help associated with the choose file prompt suggests that one can use
either
the question mark or star as wild cards, but where and how? There is a
folderful of files I'd love to be able to convert to text all at once.

Thanks.

Dean
