The thing that's frustrating for me is that I'll be sending my mPower in for
a battery change in a couple days, and I'll be quite upset if I spend all
this money and get it back and find out they want me to spend even more
money and send it back in again, if in fact it is a new BrailleNote. I was
going to just wait on the battery, but I use my BN all the time, and don't
want to get to the point where I have no battery left for the things I want
and need to do with it, just because of this teaser they keep sending out,
and then find out the product they were talking about wasn't a BrailleNote
after all. But if this does turn out to be some incredibly wonderful
BrailleNote that does everything we've asked for except wash the dishes,
I'll end up having spent money to get my current BN taken care of, and then
more money to get whatever this incredible thing is. Looking at it like
that, it seems the only ones who win are Humanware.
I hope I'm wrong, and I hope that whatever the product is, it will meet a
lot of needs and make a lot of people happy, whether it's a BrailleNote
product or something else. It's just frustrating, and it almost feels
disrespectul, to have these teasers put out to those of us who spend
hard-earned money on the products we have, and time without them when they
need to be serviced.
I don't know if I'm making any sense, but these are the thoughts of someone
who's about to be parted from her BN for a few weeks and spend big bucks to
take care of it, because I invested a lot of money in it in the firstplace.

Who only knows? The only thing I know is that I do not, repeat, do
not! like being teased. As for the cost, I'd advise being ready to
gasp and turn pale. I wonder if Humanware has any type of system that
lets you send back any unwanted equipment, i.e an old bn classic, in
exchange for some kind of credit off something else. The government
isn't always going to be willing to dish out for us, and it isn't fair
that we don't have some slightly easier means of obtaining equipment
without having to try to save money for ten years before we can afford
it.

I hope it is a new braille device. Maybe something small and powerfull.
Curious what the cost will be.
