Hello:

The only other option would be to increase the intensity of the display. While I would not hold out overly much hope that this will solve the problem.

In the options menu choose braille display and move down the list, I recall it being or near the end of the list.

Best of luck.

display/was Battery life andreplacement

So, other than exercising the Braille display and
perhaps trying
the various resets, short of sending the unit back
to HW, does
anyone know of anything else to try to fix dots that
aren't
showing up very well on the Braille display? I'm
thinking this
subject has come up more than once on the list, but
I can't seem
to remember the end result right now.

replacement

It seems that hw is taking a load of time with bn's
no matter
what's
happening to them. I've had a wobbly space bar
since February.
When I
called them up to ask about getting it fixed, they
actually
admitted
to not knowing how long it would take to fix it and
then return
it to
me, as they had many units from schools there being
cleaned.
They were
going to generate me some number... it reminded me
of waiting in
line
at kfc for crying out loud! I've learned to use it
with the
wobbly
space bar, as I've too much work to do to have it
gone for half a
year! I don't know what's going to happen when it
needs a battery
change, or when I really do need to get my braille
display taken
care
of, as the pins in some of the cells are barely
tangible. I take
this
thing absolutely everywhere! I think they really
need to somehow
work
out a better method of handling equipment.
