For both questions, and this is from what I've reading:
1. There will be no CF slot. It only supports SD/SDHC.
2. The dictionary is preinstalled, however it requires activation for it to
work. Humanware will give you an authorization key which you can put on an
SD/SDHC card to activate the software. This is akin to activating JAWS
except there's no demo mode I guess.
Hope this helps.

Subject: [Braillenote] No more compact flash cards?

I have another question about the Apex. I noticed it talked a lot about SD
cards, but said nothing about compact flash cards. Does this mean that if I

were to upgrade to an Apex, I'd have to transfer all the stuff I've been
using on CF cards to SD cards (which I'd have to buy), in order to have
access to them with the Apex?

Also, it sounds like the dictionary comes with all Apexes (or would it be
Apeces, <lol>). Does that mean the dictionary would be on the flash drive,
and there would no longer be a need for a card to be inserted?
