Well, this is my third to you, Vicky, and anyone else interested ...

I leave my Flash card in the PK for a regular reset though try to remember to remove it for any other reset. I did have one card with errors, but am not sure where those errors originated and think it may well have been from a backup of the PK and not anything to do with resets. Other than this, I haven't messed up a card so far.

Subject: [Braillenote] leaving compact flash cards in the PK

Well, I think this is my last question for right now.

But, as the subject line indicates, I'm wondering if
folks leave the compact flash card in the PK when they
turn the unit off, or when they do a regular reset? I
know when I had my PK before, I would always take out the
compact flash card, both for just turning the unit off,
as well as for any type of reset. However, when I
started using my mPower, as well as my Voice Sense, I got
in the habit of just leaving cards in the unit, even for
regular resets, thus I'm wondering if I was always taking
the card out of the PK unnecessarily?
