Hi, also haven't seen a cable like this before.

Never seen one like that, Vicky! Mine's the older type with a
printer
adapter (I think it is) and is the most peculiar cable I've seen
in a while!

I have a good description of this cable, if you need it, given to
me by our
Tech Support when mine went astray and I needed to locate it ...

Subject: [Braillenote] BrailleNote PK serial cable

I'm back again with another question. This one is
regarding the serial cable for the PK.

When I purchased the used PK, the person selling it to me
didn't have any of the original cables. However, as I
really wanted to have a serial cable so I could try and
restore the flash disk should it disappear, the person
contacted Humanware and purchased a serial cable and had
it shipped to me as part of our agreement of my
purchasing the PK.
But, this serial cable appears to be a bit different than
the one that originally came with the unit. It appears
to plug into the earphone jack on the PK, and then into a
serial port on the PC. So, hopefully, since I'm not
familiar with this design of the cable, someone on the
list can confirm for me that how I'm envisioning using
this cable with the PK is correct?
