Hi, all. On November 5 I sent my mPower in for a battery change. It got there on the 10, and of course on the 11 we got the announcement about the Apex. I called Humanware today, and my mPower had been evaluated, but no repairs were started, and no one had called me to tell me about how much it would cost. So I decided that, since I've thought of upgrading to a 32-cell display at some point, and since the repairs hadn't started yet on my unit, and since I want some of the new features, I'd go ahead and do the trade-in. The only frustrating thing is that the trade-ins don't start until January. It would be stupid to pay for a battery change on a unit I'm not going to keep, or to have it sent back to me only to turn around and send it back to Humanware, so my mPower will be sitting for a couple months, waiting until they have a big enough inventory to start the trade-ins. <sigh> What a tough place to be in! But at least I have my 7.2 mPower from work to use, so I can do some of the basic stuff until my new friend comes.

Peggy <hoping they get a big inventory soon>
