Hi Vicky,
The description was sent from one of our trusted tech people here in the UK.
Hope it helps someone! He wrote:
OK, here is my description of the PK serial cable;
One end has the female (no pins) serial connection, and the other end has
two connectors (the lead branches off into two). One is a PS2 connector, the
same as that found on a PC for connecting a mouse or keyboard. The other is
a sort of rectangle/square-shaped connector, with a thinner part at the end,
about half a centimetre thick and roughly a centimetre across; this is the
end that connects into the PK for making a serial connection to a computer.
Cheers.

Subject: [Braillenote] PK serial cable
First, thanks to all who answered my questions regarding
the PK. And, second, sure, Carol, if you have that
description of the PK serial cable you have, I would
appreciate you posting the info. I'm guessing it is the
one I received when I originally purchased a PK, and thus
not the one I got from HW just recently, but it still
couldn't hurt to have the info, just in case, and it may
help others as well. As for the different cable I have
now, guess I'll hold onto it and keep my fingers crossed
that the flash disk will stay in tact and I thus won't
even have to learn about this new cable, grin. Thanks
again for all the help.
