Hi All, I have cut and pasted the chustralian braillenote update, true, it is in Australia, but I thought it may be of interest to some people.
Marisa AUSTRALIAN BRAILLENOTE UPDATE
November to December 2009
This is the last edition of Australian BrailleNote Update for 2009, the year that marks the bicentenary of the birth of Louis Braille. It is fitting that in this commemorative year, HumanWare is able to demonstrate its support and commitment to braille literacy by bringing out a new generation of BrailleNote. The BrailleNote Apex is very slim-line, light weight and more modern than its BrailleNote mPower predecessor. You can read more about this exciting development in the first article below. Following this, we have information about some web-based resources, a technology expo and a GPS software upgrade. It was just in the last edition we were mentioning the previous upgrade to GPS and now there is another. If ever you would like to contribute a piece for this newsletter, please feel free to send it to me using the contact details at the end of this newsletter. In the following newsletter, you can easily skip to a new section simply by searching for three plus signs, as they begin each new piece. In the following text, the term "BrailleNote" applies to all models of the BrailleNotestVoiceNote family of products unless specified. Please feel free to contact me with any comments, questions, suggestions, compliments or constructive criticism.
 Good reading,
Ramona.

;to ;to ;to 2. ReadHowYouWant website info
ReadHowYouWant is a company that believes that All Books should be available in any format needed, at publication, for a fair price. Mark Tanner, the Publisher Relations Manager for ReadHowYouWant in Australia, provides here some information about their website in order that you may avail yourself of their services.
 Their website is
wwwddreadhowyouwantddcom/braille
It is very accessible. Although any suggestions for improvement are always welcome. This website has thousands of books from the classics to books published this month, spanning all genres, and available in Braille, DAISY and Large Print. They are always adding new books -- currently over 200 per month, a number which they hope to increase dramatically. The website is being updated over the coming month to include pricing in Australian Dollars (although with our dollar so high at the moment buying at the US pricing is incredibly cheap), and they are working hard to make all of their books available in UEB as well. You can use your BrailleNote to visit and enjoy the site and if you have any questions feel free to get in touch with ReadHowYouWant. They can be contacted using the following details.
