Dear Peggy,

For some reason, the BN frequently codes these files as protected when you copy them or do a backup. Use File Manager's Protection option to unprotect them, and that should solve your problem.

Hope that helps.

Subject: [Braillenote] Copying databases from one unit to another

Hi, all. I remember a while back there was some discussion about copying databases (address lists, connection configurations, keybase files, etc) from one unit to another and getting it to work. I didn't follow too closely, because I wasn't in need of the information at the time, but now I am. While I'm without my mPower and just have my unit from work, and once I get my Apex, I want to have access to my address book and databases that I worked so hard to create. But when I copy the .cdb files and keybase files onto my work unit and try to run them, I get the message that access is denied. How do I fix this?
