It is doable, as far as I understand the Apex's capabilities, and it is easy on the bn side (just press t from the main menu). The more difficult part will be in setting up your screen reader to work with the bn, but even that is not difficult. Most people on the list use either jaws or window-eyes, so someone should have the instructions.

I am considering upgrading to an Apex QT 32 Cell and would like to be able
to use it as a Braille display connected to my net book.  Is this doable,
and is it complicated to set up?
