Hello:

Is the printer on? Is there a print cartridge in it - these usually come with tape covering the ink jets to protect them.

I find that I must press a button on my HP 3200 to have it begin a BrailleNote print job. Not the on-off switch, but the on-line button.

Once you get your initial document printing you will find it a piece of cake for your following jobs.

Best of luck.

Hey,

Thanks for the response. I am using the USB
connection and just
got a HP D 2660.

The settings that you mentioned are how my Voice
note is set up.
It recognizes there is a printer and it says that it
has printed
it but there is no action from the printer its self.

Any thoughts would be welcome!

Brady

Hi,
Could you mind give us the brand of your printer and
the
connection method
you are using?
If it is a USB printer, then all you need is select
the printer
brand and
the printer port. From Main Menu, go to
Wordprocessor/Print.  At
the print or
setup prompt, press S for setup. Then the printer
setup list
appears.
A typical setting for an HP printer would be:
* Printer length: 66.
* Printer width: 85.
* Printer port: USB.
* Printer Type: HP.
At least those are general settings.
If you want to print using Bluetooth, you need to
perform few
more steps,
namely pairing the printer with your BrailleNote and
selecting
Bluetooth as
printer port. If using parallel port, you need a
USB to parallel
converter.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] Printer Question

Hope you all enjoyed your Christmas together!

Got a printer for my Voice Note and have never
printed with it
before.

Can someone tell me how to set the settings on the
Voice note and
get it ready to print? Running Keysoft 7.5.

Thanks,

Brady
