Sounds like you need a new battery. I'm surprised you never got one before
now.

Subject: [Braillenote] quick question about the battery
Hi list. My nominal available charge on my MPower battery is down to
seven. My question is at such a low charge is it possible to recalabrate
the battery manually? I have also done this, I have never recalabrated
through support mode. It doesn't surprise me that the battery is so lo
low it is almost 3 years old. I am going to try to get an apex possibly.
I want to see one before making up my mind and even then who knows if I
can get one. Anyway I have to keep my MPower plugged in now at all times
in order to use it.
