I think this is a very good idea, but it may take a bit of software
rewriting...

Subject: [Braillenote] curious about the response to this:
Hi all,
I was wondering how you all feel about a simple, though radical,
alteration to keysoft's method of providing information. While there is no
SDK so I cannot implement this, I want to know how this thought will be
received. Here it is: use the right-most few cells of the display to show
messages from other applications. If we were able to download emails in
the backbround, for example, these right-most cells might display "x/y",
where x is how many emails have been downloaded and y is the total to get.
Clicking the touch cursor over any cell in this message would switch you
to keymail.
Thoughts?
Have a great day,
Alex
