Yes, navigate to the flash disk, then press delete instead of enter. A bunch of confirmations will come up, but okay them all. At the end, go through all the remaining folders and ensure that nothing is left; you may not be able to erase some folders completely. Do a reset on the bn, and everything should be all set. Oh, make sure you delete all the files in the root of the flash disk as well.

Have a great day,
Alex

Hi,
You need to enter Flash Disk then delete everything from there. As Alex has
indicated, be sure to backup your files first.
The things that will return are just ones that are shipped from the factory
- no user-added things will remain.
Cheers,
Joseph P.S. I'll try my best to add it to my site. Right now I am in a
lab...

Alex,

Could you kindly please explain in a little more detail. Do you mean that
you space down or press F to get to the Flash drive then press DEL from
there; or are you meaning that we need to go into the Flash drive then
delete the individual folders.

Once we press reset, these folders are re-created aren't they?

Sorry, I just want to do the right thing as it's Mike's machine.

We won't be doing this for a few days but our Apex is on the way so I wanted

to know at this stage what to do.

Thanks for any further clarification you can give.

You can connect your bn to activeSync, then, on the pc,
find your flash disk and hit the delete key. Go in after
it is done and ensure that everything is gone. Of course,
make a backup before you do all this.

I think there is a system reset or something but I'm not

Hi all,

What's the quickest and easiest way of ensuring you
remove **ALL** personal informmation, including WiFi
settings, from the mPower before it is returned to
Humanware?

I'm sure I should know this but can't really work it
out right now so help

welcomed.
