I think Joseph answered your question about the dial-up
connection. As for your BookShare question, there was a free
update for the Classic, Keysoft 7.5 Build 31, and you can go to

Hi,
Looks like I'll be sending my Empower in for service. In the
meantime I'll be using my classic Voicenote 7.5 27. For the
heck of it I plugged in my wireless card and of course it didn't
recognize it. Oh well, I tried. So, I assume I'll need to plug
the unit into a phone line. Now here's a stupid question, will I
need a dial up account? Or how would that work. Our home system
is satellite. Perhaps I'll just have to reconcile myself to no e
mail on my VN until my Empower returns.
Also, the classic is not unpacking Bookshare books. I recall
that was a problem when Bookshare "improved" their site. Do any
of you know if there is a fix yet so I can unpack books on the
Classic?
