Hi,

I began using some grade 3 when I entered Michigan State University in 1959 and continued to do so until I got a Braille 'n Speak in 1990. I haven't had to use it since.

Hi, List,

There's a code of braille called grade 3. It was good for taking notes. You can write it on the BN, I've done it, but there is no back translation, of course.

Anyway, I didn't see grade 3 braille listed in the Hadley School for the Blind online course catalog, so I emailed them. I discovered they don't teach grade 3 braille anymore.

Since fast notetakers are now available, perhaps there's no call for it anymore. Does anyone on this list still use grade 3 braille?
