Jim,

Be sure you haven't got those files hidden before you delete them and start over again.

Joseph posted an interesting item on connections which I found useful and it worked like a charm for me ...

As yet we haven't tried our Apex on local sites and are just using it at home.

I await your progress with interest.

Shout if we can help further.

Subject: [Braillenote] changing or adding connection
configurations

Hi list. I may have found a bug in the Apex. I had to
buy a new router as my old one expired after five years.
Having done that and got it working with my PC after
several long and arduous tech calls to God knows where, I
tried to change the connection configurations in the Apex
so I could use the wireless connect feature. Every time
I make the appropriate changes and exit after making them
the unit says access denied. I can't even delete the old
conection files in the thing. I checked the list in key
list folder and made sure it was unprotected. There was
no change in the final results, still got access denied.
Furthermore, I had no problems making the same changes in
my old VoiceNote Mpower. After all this, I must say that
I have imported the config list from the VoiceNote to the
Apex but it had worked fine up to this point. Well, sort
of. I have also noticed that I am not able to connect to
local free sites as well. Any suggestions are much
appreciated. Thank you, Jim
