what you're all forgetting is, that i think it was alex said ages ago that skype's call quality would sound crap on a BN, as it sounds rubbish on the pac mate from freedom scientific.

If anything is going to happen, it will require lots of work and collaboration between hw and the Skype developers to even get it to run on a bn, not counting the interface (though if that version had the Skype api, it would be a lot easier).
