Hi, Karl,
I've forwarded your message to the list, so folks can express themselves.
Apparently, people are having problems downloading the file because some
ISPs won't allow large downloads. These people tried it with their PC, too.

Hi,
I have only followed this thread a bit and have a question. Exactly what
I
the problem with the upgrade? I downloaded it to my PC, copied it to my
SD
card and upgraded with no trouble. Is the trouble with downloading it
directly to the BN? I'm the HW dealer in Utah and want to be sure to
provide the best service to my customers. Thanks.
Karl

Joe,
You haven't been a customer of HumanWare for as long as I and many others
have, so you don't realize that the lack of an accessible upgrade is just
one more way HumanWare has proven its lack of interest in its customers.
We're tired of their excuses for not providing support for many things
which
customers have asked for, which HumanWare has promised, and haven't kept
their promises. We're tired of poor quality products. We're tired of
paying through the nose for a product only to discover the product doesn't
measure up to expectations. We have been *extremely* patient with
HumanWare!
So please stop sending messages telling us we are ungrateful and shouldn't
complain. These messages only cause more frustration and anger. I'll
suggest again that if you don't like the content of our messages, please
delete them!

I mean, I just don't get it. Humanware just put out an excellent product
to
help people interact with mainstream devices, and now, just because the
company has not gotten around to setting up the download specification in
a
certain format, people are feeling cornered and complain of getting a
cold
shoulder? I'm sure that if half the energy that went into writing the
backlash messages had gone into communicating with the company, the
problem
would have been fixed by now. You're welcome, by the way, for taking the
time for at least trying to provide the update in a format some of you
guys
can download. Complain all you want about unresponsive company
representatives, but to me this all smells like a lot of lack of
appreciation and too much exaggeration.
