Hello Carol. Thanks for your observations and comments. Well, in my case, I was pasting a line of text from one braille grade two file to another file of the same type. I may just be putting the top of block marker at the inappropriate place because when I have the problem I am just working with the braille display only with speech off. I was also not just losing the first letter, but the first word and I know my top of block cursor was not placed after the first word. So, as we say here and maybe there as well, go figure. Thanks again and best regards, Jim ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carol Pearson" < [email protected] > To: < [email protected] >; "BrailleNote Mailing List" < [email protected] > Sent: Thursday, February 04, 2010 2:52 PM Subject: Re: [Braillenote] an odd thing copying blocks of text on the Apex > Hi Jim, > > I am writing further to the above subject which you raised, when you found > you were losing letters when marking and copying blocks of text between > braille files using the Apex.
