Hi folks, I think I got a cold (yet again this year). Studies are going well (learning about recursion these days). As for my Apex, HumanWare (through Access Enginuity) told me that all BT units (that are in stock) will be shipped by end of this month (which means that I'll start testing the Apex and use it by beginning of March).
Well, as the subject line states, I'm re-releasing version 6.1 of my site. A critical issue has been reported where some users had difficulty downloading the Special Program audio from my site. When I get my Apex, I'll test it to see if I can find a fix for it. As of the new build, new way of viewing things (at least the foundation) has been laid. The complete list of new features are as follows: . Thanks Peter and other users for reporting the download problem on my site. Apparently users experience either "fail to download" or the download hangs when attempting to download Special Program audio from Podcast Radio. This occurs when I use the file that was uploaded or the hyperlink was pointing to the actual URL from Accessible World website. . You can now view Support Hotline articles by reverse chronological order. At this stage, to view this feature, from Front Page, go to Support Hotline link, then from the "view by" menu, select Date View link. Eventually I'll introduce "device view" where a user of a particular BrailleNote model can take a look at issues and solutions pertaining to his or her model in the near future. Also, I plan on converting current Support Hotline link menu to a combo box, with the link for each of the view page from the Front Page added. At least that's what I have for this release. As always, the site is braillenote.pbworks.com. Just like it has been, if you have any comments, let me know. Sincerely, Joseph S.
