Not sure about a noise, but that should not be anything to worry about. As to it being slow, the bn does not like having that many emails in the inbox; it is working with a database, and databases slow down as the number of records increases. Try having no more than 100 or so and you should find it faster. Also, do not forget to free database space every so often (keymail > setup > free database space).
