Hi Penny, Somewhat hard to explain (mostly because of my euphoria at the moment...)... Here's the breakdown: Under the mPower, it is possible to view system files stored under KeySoft System Disk. By modifying system files with our own, we were able to change startup sounds - for instance, changing it to Windows XP startup sound. Essentially we used a "hack" under Backup or Restore files (more towards the algorithm, or way this thing works). Thus, by copying our own startup.wav into KeySoft System Disk/Windows folder, we were able to change the startup sound. I'll try to explain the reasoning behind this "trick" at a later time (perhaps a few hours from now - when I get settled down; right now I'm so excited about getting my Apex, as well s worried about filling out FAFSA form...). Cheers, Joseph

Startup sound modifications test - to find an easier way to modify system sounds, just like we have done with the mPower. What have you done to sounds with the MPower? Do explain. Modifying what sounds? For what reason? Intrigued in Nebraska. ___ Replies to this message will go directly to the sender.
