Hi,
Okay, that sounds interesting.
The reason why I used Backup was to circumvent "protected" flag.
Cheers,
Joseph

It shouldn't be necessary to go through the whole backup/restore
process. All you need to do is create the folder windows on your
flash
disk, copy a wave file into it, rename it startup, then do your
resets.
If you want to use a wav file whose date is old, try creating an
html
file with code that creates a link to the wave file on, say, a
storage
medium. Store the page in the same place the wave file is
located (it
makes linking to the file much easier). Load the page into your
browser, make sure that the stream audio links option is set to
no,
hit the link, select the windows folder for the download
destination,
and type startup. The "downloaded" wave file will be last
modified as
of the current date.
Html code you might use would be:
<html
<head
<title>-</title
</head
<body
<a href="file.wav">Copy wave file</a
</body
</html
I hope that code shows up when you receive this message. If not,
you'll just have to find wave files whose dates fall within the
accepted threshold.
