Derek: instead of just the command, you need "/c" before it. So it would be: /c dir stuff.txt 2> fail.txt
Scott: if you have a classic or mpower, and I guess a pk as well, go to the main menu, utilities, application program, select the windows directory of the keysoft system disk, and select cmd.exe. At the "command line" prompt, enter /c followed by a single command. You can run a bat file as well. Most people who use this will hide or unhide files or do searches for files as it is not good for anything else. You must redirect output to a file to view it; the cmd line is not interactive like on a regular Windows machine.
