Hi,
Actually, we have it here already; Here's the logic:
Since HW says that KeySoft 9.0's interface is that of 8.0 (with added features), then we can proudly say that we can indeed play Audible content. Now the chief question is: will HW fix the NLS usability issue? If yes, then we won.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] USA - digital books

Hello List:

In the States we can now download audible books from
the Library of Congress. Humanware has been
involved in the development of the new digital book
player now becoming available to blind people.
Humanware has developed it's own device for playing
these files.

Many years ago I asked the BrailleNote marketing
person, Jonathan Mosen, when the BrailleNote would
be able to play these files. He answered that he
could see no reason why the BrailleNote would not
support reading these files; he felt that the
BrailleNoteS book reader could easily add the new
features to enable this. He also felt that
Humanware would get the job done before any other
note-taker as the development had been done in
house.

As I am tempted by the Apex I am also tempted by the
various digital book readers. But would it not be
wonderful if the BrailleNotes could do both?
