You need to simply put the .hwi file into the none folder of your flash disk or an sd card or thumb drive. If flash disk, connect the AC adapter, go to the main menu, and turn off and on the Apex. If that does not work, try a plain reset. If an sd card or thumb drive, connect the AC adapter, go to the main menu, and insert the memory device. Follow the instructions from there.
