Hi,
Maybe I (and other programmers here) can write a Windows program
for you.
The answer is half yes, half no. It is possible to write
checkbook or similar programs; however, the key thing that we
need (an SDK) is not availible for KeySoft (which I plan to start
a petition for it). If we do get hold of SDK (using public
means), then I'm sure Checkbook would be one of the first
programs to be ported from Blazie days.
In the meantime, do you have the documentation for that program
so that we (the developers and students who are learning
programming) can formulate possible algorithms for it? I'm sure
Alex would love to see the thing so that we can work on creating
at least a Windows version. I'm mostly towards calculators and
helping people with games...
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] question about checkbook programs
Hi, all, long ago on another braille notetaking device, they had
a check register program. I liked this and used it often until
the unit quit working and I lost all my files. It was apparently
not year 2000 compatible. I have the braillenote mpower BT 32
cell machine and I wondered if anybody considered writing a
checkbook program for it. I can't under any circumstance afford
the apex, but is this type of program being considered for it?
If the answer is no to any of these questions, could somebody
possibly let us know why? Thanks and have a blessed day.
