Granted it's not a command supported in many games, but there are a
few games where I've encountered it. It allows one to carry out a set
of commands listed in an ascii file.
My question is how come I can't, no matter what I try, get the replay
command to function propperly?
Each command in such a replay file is separated by a new line, and no
special syntax is needed. I think it's a debugging command some
authors choose to leave available for players of released versions of
their games.
The only games I've tried using it in so far are devours.z5 and
tube.z5, but I suspect it might be usable in a couple other games I
have. Maybe Keysoft doesn't know how to take the news that the game
interpreter has received the replay command. Any thoughts?
