I have been porting files from my voice note over to the Apex and discovered a weird anomaly. I copied a folder from the voice note flash drive to a usb memory stick that contained a number of KeyWord 2.0 document files. I then plugged that memory stick into the Apex and copied the whole folder onto the Apex flash drive. When I opened that folder on the Apex, there were a number of files there but all of my KeyWord 2.0 documents were missing. This made no sense because I had copied the whole folder. I looked on the memory stick at the same folder on the Apex and these same files were nowhere to be found. I removed the memory stick and put it back on the voice note and, wonder of wonders, all of those vanishing KeyWord 2.0 documents magically reappeared. Just to be sure, I deleted the folder in question from the memory stick and moved it back to the Apex. I then used file manager and directory mode to browse to the weird folder, where I pressed backspace with y to copy the entire folder back onto the memory stick. I then put the memory stick back in my voice note and all the missing KeyWord 2.0 documents appeared again. Does anyone have any idea why the Apex refuses to see these document files? For any of you who ported your KeyWord 2.0 docs over to your Apex, there is hope. If you did not delete the folder in question off your Apex in frustration, those files are probably still there hiding. Just copy the whole folder to some other memory device, take them to an mPower or classic model note taker and convert them to some other document format and bring them back to your Apex that way. I see that Apex does see KeyWord text files, just not KeyWord 2.0 doc files. Is this a bug or a feature? Is Humanware dropping support for KeyWord 2.0 doc files or did they just forget to port the code for seeing them over to the Apex? I guess the next test is to try to create a KeyWord 2.0 doc file on the Apex and see if it vanishes. Richard Ehrler
