It is simple, actually, and do not worry about asking too many questions.
1. Go to either media center > media player or file manager >
directory; either will work just as well, with the only difference
being that the directory option will play music in the background
whereas media player will show the track progress indicator.

2. Navigate to the folder with the files you want to play and use the
normal mark commands to select a file or group of files.

3. Once you are happy with the selection, simply press enter. The
files will play in whatever order you have them sorted by (use space-v
to change this order).

4. To rename a playlist (default names are playlistx.m3u, where x is a
number), close the media player, go to a file selection prompt
(keyword, media player, anywhere), and select the playlists folder on
the flash disk. Find the last playlist in the folder and it will be
the most recent one. Your first playlist will be playlist0.m3u, but if
you made 3 playlists, you would have playlist0.m3u, playlist1.m3u, and
playlist2.m3u. Playlist2 is the most recently created one.
Anyway, find the one you want and just rename it, or move it, or
whatever. Playlists do NOT have to stay in the playlists folder to
work, but new playlists will be put there automatically.

To merge two playlists, just open one, go to the end of the file, make
sure there is a new line just before the cursor, and use block
commands > insert file to put the contents of another playlist into
the one currently opened.

If you find that you try to edit a playlist file and you get "access
is denied", try a reset. You will lose changes to the playlists made
since you opened it in keyword, but the reset will cause the media
player to release the hold it places on playlists once they are
played; this hold is stopping keyword from saving a new version of the
playlist over the old one, and the only way to clear the hold is a
reset.

HTH, and let me know if something does not make sense.
