Hi,
I see.
For zip files, try unzipping them using File Manager:
1. From Main Menu, go to File Manager/Directory.
2. Locate the drive and folder where the book resides.
3. Locate the zip file and press ENTER. KeySoft says, "folder for unpacked Bookshare book?" Select the folder that you want to store this braille book. 4. Then KeySoft says, "Password?" Type your Bookshare password then press ENTER. After a short while, KeySoft says, "Delete the original Bookshare book?" To keep the zip file, press n; to erase it, press y. The filter might mean changing the file display mode - regular (all files), KeySoft view (KeySoft files only) or all inclusive (including hidden files). To do this (which can be done at any file list), press SPACE with X (I forgot with QT command, sorry).
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] book reader question

Hi, I have a braillenote mpower that has just been updated to the keysoft 8 version, build 20. I just put several bookshare files with the extensions .brf.zip and when in book reader, it doesn't see those files. I read the read me file and it said something about changing the book reader filters to all files. How do you do this. I've looked around all over the braillenote and can't find how to do this. I don't mind doing things the way I used to and unzipping on the computer, but I thought I'd save myself some work by putting them on the thumb drive and letting the braillenote do its thing, but I don't know how to change the book reader settings. Thanks in advance and have a blessed day.
