Hi All, I hope you are doing well. I don't post here much because I feel you are smarter than me, and can answer everyone's questions more precisely. I do have a question though. I tried to configure my BrailleNote MPower BT to use the braille display with my new Macbook. I followed the instructions to configure with Voiceover, but it doesn't work. Not only am I having trouble getting the Braillenote to pair with the Bluetooth of the Mac, but when I do get it to pair Voiceover says it failed to install a driver to run the braillenote. I'm not understanding this as the Braillenote BT32 is supported as a braille display with the Mac. Also, when I press T from the main menu and I'm prompted for the port I hit B for Bluetooth. The BrailleNote responds with the following: "The serial port is not available. The operation completed successfully."
The Mac is not using the BrailleNote as a braille display and I'm unsure why. In the past, I used the Braillenote and configured it through the serial port with Window-Eyes. Why is it when I try to switch the port to bluetooth I get this message? Bluetooth is turned on from the connectivity menu. Any assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. Sincerely, Marissa ___ Replies to this message will go directly to the sender.
