Hi Sam,

Yes, I've experienced this, as I bought the new Ambicom card this spring, and it has brought the need to slow down a bit when sending and receiving emails, and or going to the Web. I pushed my Empower hard this past Friday, and it rebelled a bit. Thus, my recent "Frustrated Empower User" email. In the spring, I also added 8.0 at the same time, so wondered whether the upgrade might be the problem. Apparently, the WIFI Card is more sophisticated, and therefore requires a slightly slower pacing upon initiating emails or web search. But Humanware (Technical Support" told me re-sets are the result of limited memory in the Empower compared to Apex. But I must say, Empower is working awfully well for me since slowing down the entry commands.

Good luck.

Subject: [Braillenote] has anyone experienced this?

Hello all,

Would like to know if anyone else has experienced this? Recently
I bought an Ambicom card that can do wpa incription, I am running
the latest update on an MPower. What I have noticed is that my
MPower freezes much more with this card, forcing me to do a reset
more often. It also makes me retry with going on the internet
more then my old ambicom. Sometimes I'll put it in and it
doesn't register that it sees the card, so I will do a reset and
it will see it. Again, my old card doesn't seem to have this
problem. Has anyone else had this trouble with the ambicom card
that does wpa?

Regards,

Sam Jasmine (Access Education)
