Hi BrailleNote users, HumanWare staff and others, Today I'd like to announce the availability of the Public Beta version of BrailleNote PBWorks 7.0! In this release, the features sets has been implemented and are waiting for your feedback. The objective of this public beta cycle is to hear from you - feedback on current content for the upcoming version. Some of the changes and updates as of Public Beta 1 (build 218) include: * Support Hotline/Device View: The basic framework for Device View is now complete. This is essentially a breakdown of relevant articles for various BrailleNote models. At this stage, only one article - recalibrating the battery - is posted for Classic models. This page can be found by going to Support Hotline link from the front page, then going to device view link. * New anchors: Some of the Support Hotline articles now have same page links, or anchors for ease of navigation. Notably, Upgrading KeySoft, Support Hotline and setting up Internet connection would be prime examples. In addition, the category view now has a top menu allowing you to jump directly to a desired section. * Command Summary: Still in development, but the content is ready for "testing" - verification of commands, tests on ease of navigating the data table and so on. No anchors yet - I'll add those in the coming days. This page can be found from support Hotline under General section. * Web Terminal has gained an additional section and a new page - my own blog.
