Dear listers,
I'm wondering how is the best way to access the send emails, and
use the Net when on the go with the BrailleNote. Does one have
to use one's mobile phone. I have a wireless card but don't know
how to make it access the Net outside my home. When I went to
one place, I was told that their wireless internet was proqcted
by security measures. In this case, I imagine, I would have to
use the inbuilt modem bI don't carry a cable around with me.
Since I'm not technical, a lot of stuff which I don't
automatically use goes right over my head until I'm in a
situation where I need to use it. Could someone reminm me the
best way of getting around these problems, so I can access my
emails and go on the Net whenever I want? After all the thing I
like most about the BN is its portability and Braille display
which gives me privacy.
Finally, could anyone who is an Optus user give me an idea of how
much extra I would be paying if I used my mobile to connect with
my BN to access the Internet?
