Hi Alex,
Remember the Second BrailleNote Chat? The mPower saw Object
Exchange which
it couldn't support. And the release notes for 9.0x says that
FTP profile is
supported - which if Robert's hypothesis is true, then file
import/export
would refer to it.
Cheers,
Joseph

Thanks for the mention. Now that the Apex will not let me edit
html
files I am doing much less with web programming. I am getting to
know
the Python programming language quite well, but still hope to
learn
about mobile / embeded device programming in the future.
What is this about bluetooth object exchange? An update
somewhere?

Hi folks,
With the euphoria over the fact that Bluetooth Object Exchange
is here,
I'd
like to just point out and recognize some of the 'experts" on BN
family on
this list, with my guess of specialization:
* Alex Hall (from University of maine): I believe he is into
software
development and researching scripting and web programming, with
special
emphasis on mobile technology and notetakers. I'd say he is the
"chief
user
expert" - right below HW staff in terms of know-how.
* Robert Cummings (from United Kingdom): I'd say he works with
verification
of features and testing to make sure that a given feature is
present or
not.
* Josh Klander: I'd say he works with experimentation and
feature set
testing.
* Nicole Torcolini (from Standford): I believe she is into
feature
compatibility and user interface testing.
* Joseph Lee (myself from UC Riverside): I'd say I'm mostly into
hardware
trends and compatibility.
And so many people like Richard E., Richard S., Carol P. and
others who
have
contributed to researching things and helping the list - which
does make
this list a unique one, in my opinion. Thanks guys...
Cheers,
Joseph
