Hi, This means that the machine is getting too old. In other words, it is no longer possible to read and write to that particular section of Flash Disk, thus it needs a Flash replacement. How long your friend had that unit? Cheers, Joseph

Hi, I was helping a friend with his voicenote MPower QT the other day because he couldn't access a file. Whenever we tried to open the file it said that it couldn't access the sector. It was a text document and it would ask if we wanted to review the options but as soon as you said no to that you got the error message. If I said yes to checking the options there was no options and when I escaped out of the list I got the error. I tried all resets including the service reset with no change. I looked around the machine and he is running keysoft 7.5 but the latest build. It doesn't seem to be happening with any other documents that are saved to the flash drive which is where this one is. There is still heaps of space on the flash drive. I also tried freeing database space in the email program even though he doesn't use it for email or Internet. after a little while of freeing database space I got the same error about can not access the sector. Does anyone have any other ideas or does my friend need to contact humanware? Would re-installing keysoft help? I have now deleted the problem document which didn't change the error with freeing database space, but we are afraid that this may happen to other documents that might be more important then this one was, because we have no idea what caused it. >From Shaz.
